It could happen

and it did. The very night that I wrote the HOT HOT HOT The lake made me a liar. Well not exactly but in a good way. A real good way. It was a super hot day and I waited to go out for the evening fishing until around 8. The first spot I went to had the fish stacked up like cord wood. I caught 6 keepers all off the same pile. I bet I had not made no more than a dozen casts. All of the fish were about the same size and were really hungry not pecking on the worm slamming it as soon as it hit bottom.  The fish all weighed about 3 pounds and looked as if they were out of a cookie cutter. School fish I am sure. Then school must of  let out and the bite stopped.  I did hit several other brush piles and caught 3 more keepers all on a 10 inch power worm.  Like a fool I quit fishing around 10 and thinking I would try them again the next night. I caught 3 dinks the next night.

The water temp today is in the 90s and the lake is clear and of course the pleasure boaters are a pain in the rear.
