In Week 2 of Kid Power, the Super Stallions from Alex Sanger Elementary in Dallas were the most active team. Saturday evening, these students collected their prize: they rode the Mavs Fans Express bus to the Mavericks game, where they met Tyson Chandler! Great job, and good luck to all Dallas kids as they get active to save lives during the final week of Kid Power month!
At Mother Caroline Academy in Boston, Mr. Woods led his class in squats, sit-ups, running, and basketball games to motivate students to earn Kid Power Points. These young women are engaged in the Kid Power mindset of giving back through physical activity!
Students at the Dever School were treated to a visit from Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas! At a celebratory event, Isaiah played a game with kids and spoke about the power of helping others. Thanks to its amazing Kid Power participants, the City of Boston is making strides to combat malnutrition and give back to children around the globe.
