Kurando Furuya

Chief Executive Officer
Kurando Furuya is Chief Executive Officer of TOYOKE Inc., the wellness company behind the SAUNAS brand in Tokyo.
He began his career as a film director, producing commercials for brands including MUJI and Sony, before founding the advertising production company HOEDOWN Inc.
He expanded his work by overseeing a range of spatial experience projects, including science museums and corporate showrooms.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he co-founded TOYOKE Inc. with colleagues he had worked with for many years and now leads its wellness businesses, including sauna operations.
His interest in exploring how people experience content through advertising, film, and space has now extended to urban relaxation and wellness experiences.
Having expanded his work from advertising, film, and spatial experiences into wellness, at MAD STARS 2026, he will share the journey and perspective behind creating new experiences through content and spatial design.
Championing the Value of Creativity and Inclusion
Nkanyezi Masango
Ogilvy South Africa
Chief Creative Officer
Nkanyezi Masango is Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy South Africa and a creative leader with more than 20 years of experience across diverse markets and cultures.
He began his career as a copywriter at TBWA Johannesburg before spending four years at TBWA Hong Kong, where he worked on adidas projects for the Beijing Olympics. He later held creative leadership roles at Y&R Cape Town, King James/Accenture Song, and Dentsu Creative.
Beyond creating award-winning work, he has continued to share his experience and perspectives with the industry by serving as an Executive Jury member at major global advertising festivals and speaking on their main stages.
Through Blackboard Community, which he founded, he introduces high school students with limited access to opportunities to a range of roles in advertising and the creative industries and gives them an opportunity to explore advertising as a potential career.
Having led creative organisations across different countries and cultures, he will share insights on creative leadership and building a more inclusive industry at MAD STARS 2026.

In Search of ‘Human Truths’ That Cross Borders and Media
Noël Bunting

After being recognised as one of the most creative people in New York advertising, Noël Bunting moved to London and continued her career as a creative leader.
At Ogilvy, she served as Global Creative Lead for Dove, leading campaigns that resonated with consumers across different markets.
She later joined independent agency Neverland as Executive Creative Director, helping it become one of London’s most talked-about agencies and be named Campaign’s Start-up of the Year in 2022.
After joining Publicis London as Chief Creative Officer in January 2024,
the agency ranked sixth in the UK for new business within a year and became the London agency with the highest proportion of women in leadership.
Noël Bunting has also worked on campaigns for a wide range of brands, including Heineken, Taco Bell, Volvo, and Oreo.
In particular, she won a Grand Prix for Oreo’s ‘Daily Twist’ campaign at a major global advertising festival
She focuses on finding human truths that resonate with people across borders and media. Her goal is not simply to present new ideas, but to create campaigns that deliver tangible results for brands.
She also believes in being ‘a human being first and a creative leader second.’

He has collaborated with creative teams at DDB and TBWA, as well as design studio Solid Dogma, and has worked on international and regional projects for brands including Netflix, EDP, Emirates, Benfica, Gatorade, Super Bock, Lidl, and Banco do Brasil.Paulo Mariano is a creative professional based in Lisbon, Portugal.
He currently serves as Senior Art Director at O Escritório, one of Portugal’s most awarded independent creative agencies.
With more than 20 years of experience across Europe and Latin America, he has worked across integrated campaigns, brand activations, and product development, with a focus on visual communication and storytelling.
He has collaborated with creative teams at DDB and TBWA, as well as design studio Solid Dogma, and has worked on international and regional projects for brands including Netflix, EDP, Emirates, Benfica, Gatorade, Super Bock, Lidl, and Banco do Brasil.
His strength lies in combining attention-grabbing visuals with compelling brand narratives to communicate messages effectively.

Sandipan Bhattacharyya

Also widely known as Sandi, Sandipan Bhattacharyya is a leader with more than 24 years of experience shaping creative vision and organisational culture at major global agencies.
After working at Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, and GREY, he now serves as Chief Creative Officer at MONKS.
He sees creativity not simply as a means of expression, but as a force that drives business growth.
His work has won more than 120 awards at global and regional festivals, while GREY, under his leadership, ranked among India’s leading agencies in several global creative rankings.
His best-known work includes P&G Gillette’s ‘Barbershop Girls’ and ‘Man Enough’ campaigns.
Together, the two campaigns generated more than 110 million views worldwide and are regarded as some of Gillette’s most defining work.
While Sandipan Bhattacharyya emphasises the power of creativity to deliver results, he has also spoken critically of the practice of using purpose-led campaigns primarily as a means of winning awards.
In a video message addressed to a global advertising awards jury, he also questioned the ethics and intent behind public service advertising.
He believes not only in the results creativity can achieve, but also in the authenticity and responsibility behind the process.
Joining MAD STARS 2026 as an Executive Jury member and Speaker, he will share his experience and insights on how to build authentic creative work that also delivers meaningful business results.

Shinichi Kobayashi

Shinichi Kobayashi is a creative leader who has connected creativity with technology and data for more than 30 years.
He currently serves as Executive Officer, Executive Creative Director, and Creative Innovation Officer at ADK Marketing Solutions Inc., a Japanese marketing communications group.
While leading a 120-person creative organisation, he also drives digital transformation across multiple divisions.
Through his work at Dentsu and Rakuten, he has expanded the possibilities of data-driven creativity.
At Dentsu, he built Dentsu Digital’s creative department from the ground up, while at Rakuten, he developed strategies and designed user experiences for tens of millions of customers.
With an academic background in economic anthropology,he also spent 16 years as an adjunct lecturer in advertising copywriting at Kanazawa College of Art.
Drawing on this academic background and his extensive professional experience, he has created work combining cultural insight, technology, and data.
To date, he has received more than 70 awards at major advertising festivals in Japan and overseas and has also served as a jury member.
Having led the digital transformation of creative organisations and work processes through data and technology, he will share the experience and perspectives he has built throughout his career at MAD STARS 2026.

Takuma Kobayashi

Representative Director and President
Since 2025, Takuma Kobayashi has served as Representative Director and President of Japanese beauty company POLA inc., while concurrently serving as a Director of Pola Orbis Holdings, inc.
He joined POLA in 2002 and was appointed President of DECENCIA in 2010, a sensitive skin care brand launched as an in-house venture within the Pola Orbis Group, where he led the brand’s growth.
He later became Director of Marketing at ORBIS in 2017 and was appointed President in 2018. Through rebranding and structural reforms, he restored the company’s growth and achieved a V-shaped recovery.
Takuma Kobayashi earned an MBA from Waseda University Graduate School and has built extensive experience in brand marketing and corporate management.
Having led brand transformation at DECENCIA, ORBIS, and POLA, he will share at MAD STARS 2026 his perspectives on creating new drivers of growth and leading brand transformation.

Head of Creative
Titipun Tubthong is Head of Creative at Brilliant & Million. He is a creative professional who has explored new possibilities in advertising by integrating technology into creativity.
Drawing on his expertise in AI, digital transformation, and social media, he has created campaigns that connect technology with cultural context.
He has worked with global brands including KFC, Nestlé, Mondelēz, Visa, and PepsiCo, leading major campaigns and new business wins.
He also conducts AI training for professionals across various creative disciplines, helping brands and agencies respond to the evolving digital landscape.
Building on these activities, he regularly speaks at industry events on AI and creative technology and has served as a juror at major global advertising awards. In 2024, he was also named to Campaign’s ‘40 Under 40’ list.
Titipun Tubthong continues to explore new intersections between AI, culture, and brands, guided by the belief that technology expands the possibilities of creativity.
Drawing on his work applying AI and digital technology to brands and culture, he will discuss how technology is expanding the possibilities of creativity at MAD STARS 2026.
