a celebration such as this one was a good time to see old faces one left behind, especially for one as old as aeden was. truthfully most of his circle was compromised of mages for much of his life, he had done his best to make up for it on the later half of his century of age but he couldn't say he didn't miss his fellow mages at times.
seeing hectar was not a surprise but certainly a bright spot in the whole affair. "look what the tides have finally brought me." he greeted, pressing a daring kiss on his old professor's cheek, ignoring the party goers walking among them. "you don't look a day over 600, hectar... and here i thought i'd given you some gray hairs."
his hand rested on a shoulder, bright smile as he remembered late night lessons with the mage, hands guiding his own. a warm body next to him, kisses shared in his private chambers away from the other students. not that aeden tried to hide it particularly well, but he enjoyed the thrill of a private relationship (of a kind, anyway) with his favorite teacher. "how are things in solanis? still as stiff and stuck in the past as ever?"
