Yuzef liked to think he maintained great relationships with all of his fellow councilmen, no matter how much they disagreed on the matters at hand. He often found himself clashing with Feng; a natural disparity given Yuzef's own inclinations towards pacifism.

This, paradoxically, made Feng fascinating to talk with.

"So, Lord Commander, what do you make of the current state of things? Argos reopening itself up to Metia? Any concerns about the upcoming colosseum fights...?"

Yuzef always head a soft spot for Taiyan. The baby of the Argos clan never seemed to fit in with his royal family, and Yuzef himself identifie with that, noting his own disparities with his brother and father. It never ceased to amaze, just how different people of the same bloodline could turn out...

Of course, Yuzef thought he was better than them for this, but that was neither here nor there.

In any event, the Coinmaster took advantage of Taiyan's fierce physique and convinced him to be his personal trainer, helping sculpt his own body to be strong and mighty. Not that he needed it to be. But one never knew...

Plus, it helped him find partners to bring back to his bed.

"Not that I am not enjoying our time together, Prince," Yuzef grunts through gritted teeth, balancing heavy weights above his head to increasingly diminishing returns, "but are we done yet...? I do not know if I am strong enough for this—"

Yuzef, obviously, put out feelers to his fellow Masters of Coin once Aegonia opened itself back up to the whole of Metia. He wanted to become familiar with every councilman he could find, but his direct counterparts took precedence.

The first of them to get back to him? Lucien Remes, from Valtolia. After weeks of back and forth communication, they'd finally arranged to meet in person in Argos, ahead of the events of the colosseum. Just a private, one-on-one mind meld. Nothing more, nothing less...

"So I finally meet my fellow Coinmaster," Yuzef says, greeting the other man with a firm, impressive handshake. "So great to finally make your acquaintance, Lord Remes. I've been looking forward to this for so, so long... our correspondence has been the highlight of my weeks since we first contacted one another. How are you doing? Can I fetch you something to drink before we sit? My servants can get you anything you'd like, no hassle—"

Unlike most, especially those in his native Argonia, Yuzef felt exceedingly whelmed about his kingdom opening up to the greater Metia. So many business deals to be made! So much trade and exchange! The possibilities increased tenfold overnight.

Ahead of the colosseum event, Yuzef pushed for a conference composed entirely of high-ranking officials of each Metian council. A unified Metia was better than a lawless, unruly one, Yuzef thought, and he possessed more than enough initiative to make sure it happened.

Which meant he arrived very, very early, sitting along until finally he heard the door behind him open, signaling to his first guest.

"Hello!" says Yuzef, rushing from his seat to shake the other's hand. "Yuzef Lacon. Master of coin, Argonia. You are from... Bergia? Valtolia? I could not form a dossier of portraits of everyone, so my apologies for the lack of couth there..."

Yuzef did not care much for war or matters of the army, but he did love a fight. Found them thrilling. As long as it remained purely for entertainment, there was nothing truly wrong with it, right...?

And by his luck, one of his childhood pals seemed poised to take part in the colosseum this week. Perfect time to catch up.

"Junyuan! Or rather, should I say, Lord Coritha?" Yuzef exclaims, greeting his old friend with a warm, tight hug and a pat on his back. Yuzef remembered when Junyuan was just a kid — not that he was so much older himself, but as children, more than five years an age difference may as well have been decades.

"It has been so long, too long... how are you doing, sport? I heard you're competing in the colosseum, is that true?"
