I find this scene so very powerful in its tragedy.
Young Murderdock doesn't "simply" get blinded in an accident, no. That's his mom. His mom who didn't leave him like 616 Matt's did... his mom who ends up accidentally blinding him.
The single image with her hands spreading the blinding chemical on his eyes hits me so hard. It's very very very well done.
The single "Mom?" in the black of Matt's new world is the cherry on top.
So powerful.
