We All Have Pain, We All Have Sorrow.
Hearing Adam’s words cracking and breaking – she didn’t want him to say anymore. She knew he was beside himself, anyone that knew the pair long enough would understand the pain he was going through. He’d come to Kelly because of obvious reasons. But just his explanation of it was hurting him and she quietly thanked him, told him to try and not think about it – and then gave him a hug and told him to go spend some time with Kelsey. Watching the broken Frog leave her vicinity really made her heart ache. What he must be feeling. Swallowing down her own emotions, she pushed off the couch and headed out not too long after, for Rocky’s. He’s only been recently released and she gave a quiet greeting to Rocky’s father and grandmother, who met her at the door. His grandmother’s face was clouded with worry. She gave her a reassuring hug. Then moved past them both and for Rocky’s room. Giving a gentle knock on the frame, as the door was ajar – before she moved inside.
Seeing Rocky sitting there on his bed – in a position that was so ramrod straight – she wondered if he was attempting to push himself past the pain or if he was trying to keep the pain from coming. Neither would surprise her. She rarely admits how good he looks in blue, well – out loud – but in her mind he’s never worn a better color but that’s a bit biased because she’s always been a fan of blue outside of other colors, ever since she was younger. “Rocky?” Her tone soft and full of concern. When the entire thing had happened, she hadn’t been here and she felt a million miles of bad for not. Because she would have been there for Rocky since the very moment it had all happened. Stepping in closer, she placed a hand delicately on his shoulder. Blue-green eyes watching him. Before her hand moved upward just a little, a finger tracing down his cheek.
