13 -- life goal(s).

ahh !! well... i guess one of the main goals that sticks out in my head would be to meet & move in with jonathon. idk that sounds cliché & kinda silly but we're both super dedicated to this relationship & i just really wanna see things finally come together between us uvu i also wanna figure out a job/career that really makes me happy, like maybe working as a school teacher or a social worker ! oh & i also really really wanna conquer my depression & anxiety problems that i've been struggling with for years. i'm currently on medication & going through therapy so things should totally turn around soon enough ; v ;

these three are /so/ important. maes had a profound impact on roy’s life, but i think the reverse is as true. roy and riza actively help each other grow, but maes and roy are sort of foils, & you don’t hear much about how important roy was to maes.

 God I wish, that it was touched upon more about how important Roy was to Maes. It was obvious to him with Lust and Envy, that he was going to be killed when he found out the truth, but could have gotten word to Roy quicker if he had used the office phone, but it all clicks, and he doesn't want it traced back, to Roy immediately if he has enough time to get word out. He doesn't want it bugged, he puts himself in more danger (because he could have delayed his death if he'd taken the help of the secretary) by moving off onto his own. He's resigned at this point and he begs because as a happy man he doesn't want tO LOSE HIS FAMILY (roy, riza, gracia and elicia) but he begs and fights and tries to get the word out and tries with his last moments for the people he wants to protect.  but no roy impacted his life, in the manga i think they both had a chance to get out and roy has a stupid way of asking for support, it's even stupider in japanesE LET ME TELL YOU THAT, and maes just is like I'll back you up yeah just ask outwards next time.
