Stray Cats Chapter 4: When Clad In Red

In which the author has to change most of the tags and the rating because this story decided it has some superhero action.

I thought this story would mostly just be found family fluff with maybe a background story of Marinette figuring out why the brothers are running away, but this chapter just came blasting everything up with superhero action, pre 3d concepts for the powers, and Butterfly Mafia, lol.

Redraw of this picture I did awhile ago of how I pictured a dress Marinette wore in @pozolegirl s fic Stray Chat (if you haven’t read it please do yourself a favour and go read it!! One of the best fics I’ve read still to this day!!) Anyways I kind of messed her face and hair up but I figured I’d post it anyways :P

Shout out and HUGE thank you to that anon for recommending Stray Chat by @pozolegirl to me!! I’m about in the middle of chapter 4 and am very much enjoying it. So much MariChat and Adrinette, I am liv i n g.

I wanna post more art for the fics I read this year because I’m not great at other forms of feedback ;~; so we’re kicking it off with these!

The first is a watercolor painting that I did on some paper left over from a different project. I painted each individual paw print in white ink over the watercolor before going back over each with green ink, then going over the entire sweater again in the watercolor to fill in the gaps. It took a while but I really like how it came out.

wild things happening at my mum's where she's clearly decided i drink too much but instead of doing something normal like saying 'let's have an alcohol free drink tonight' she's asked her partner to make us all 'a special gin and tonic' which is very obviously 0% but without acknowledging it, and then bringing it to me and saying '[partner] has made a special drink for you to try'...... it's perfectly nice (i make drinks like this for myself at home too!) but harder to enjoy alongside the weird vibe where i feel like i'm 5 years old and need to be tricked into eating a food i don't like, or alternatively two steps away from an intervention
