So I see that you're always giving workout advice, so I would like to ask you this. what sort of workout would you recommend for a build like Bolin?
Bolin looks like a Powerlifter in my opinion. His build is pretty top heavy, but he actually has some pretty nice legs on him. The trick to Bolin’s build is the perma-bulk look he has, which would mean eating a small caloric surplus every day, but not going too crazy on the calories. Think +250 a day.
Workout wise, I’d do workouts structured around building the main 4 exercises: bench press, squats, deadlift, and shoulder press (cause he got them boulder shoulders on him), with other exercises being supplements to building those 4 main ones.
There are a bunch of powerlifting routines out there (thought some tend to focus on the big 3 which doesn’t include the shoulder press) that anyone can look up and try based on what looks fun to them. A simple routine might look like:
Day 1: Squats + squat building exercises (front squats, glute exercise, box squats, etc)
Day 2: Bench Press + bench building exercises (dumbbell bench, tricep exercises, close grip bench, etc)
Day 3: Deadlift + deadlift building exercises (deficit deadlift, straight legged deadlift, back extensions, etc)
Day 4: Accessory work (other shoulder/back/arm exercises)
This workout is would be a little harder and what I would do if I felt like doing a powerlifting routine to get Big like Bolin:
Day 1: Heavy bench, lightweight shoulder press + additional shoulder and arm work
Day 2: Heavy squat, light weight deadlifts + additional leg and back work
Day 3: Rest
Day 4: Heavy shoulder press, lightweight bench + additional shoulder and arm work
Day 5: Heavy deadlift, lightweight squats + additional leg and back work
