Puppy did great in her crate all night. Yes she woke us up 3 times to go outside and we gladly obliged. Then promptly moved the crate down stairs to get 3 solid hours of sleep in a row! Our newborn issues! But this is my view as I do my morning #SAVERS #powerofpersuasion #puppymission complete.

Knowing the girls only want an itty bitty Yorkie or Pomeranian I figured we'd be safe at the Humane Society...but low and behold, they found a sweet little chocolate lab puppy which I reminded them gets bigger than Hatchi, who they said was too big for them to pick up and play with...this is getting hard! #powerofpersuasion #puppymission she is super persistent. Power of persuasion written by my 8 year old Kit. She and her little sister Claire are trying to persuade me to buy them a new super tiny portable doggy. One that fits in your purse type! I keep reminding them, we have a perfectly wonderful, sweet and happy dog for them who is not huge! She's a medium sized dog who loves them. But they really want a hand held pup! Power of Persuasion: Pokémon

Over the past week I’ve witnessed how a simple game can weigh so negatively yet positive on so many people. Many were persuaded to follow this game by their peers, friends, family, and surprisingly coworkers. From a negative view, many lost focus on their daily routines. People who were supposed to go to the gym, didn’t go…while on the positive side, you had people that didn’t exercise a day in their lives, running all over town, so that was a plus. You had people paying more attention to their phones and trying to catch these Pokémon pieces that they ruined their relationships at home. Meaning, they wouldn’t take their eyes off the phone for two minutes to ask their significant other how their day was or what was for dinner. Then when Hilary Clinton mentioned the Pokémon game for votes Donald Trump struck back as well with the game to throw balls at Hilary. While on the positive side of things, it brought strangers together…no matter the skin color. Uptown Charlotte in the Epi Center, people joined together to start meet up groups to work as teams. I mean with all of the negative things happening in the world today, it brought many together. I am really not a fan of the game because it makes people lose focus. However, if this game will bring people together, no matter the skin color, then I am alllllll for it! There weren’t any fights…there weren’t any bashing…there weren’t any people showing hatred towards another. There was just some competitive teams, having a great time exercising while playing a game….UNITY #PowerofPersuasion #perscc16 @drjmunsell
