Since 1995, Robert and his team have been presenting a stage hypnosis show called, Robert LAMAR’s Theatre of the MIND™. In the fall of 2018, Robert LAMAR began considering a new project. Something different. From the very beginning, most performances of Robert LAMAR's Theatre of the MIND™ opened with a demonstration of psychological magic (mentalism). Robert contemplated the idea of creating a 2-hour theatrical production of a different kind. He wanted to combine, in essence, a play (a story) that would be interspersed with a varied selection of amazing interactive mental demonstrations. Robert shared his new idea with his team. Everybody was excited about the change in direction. Before proceeding, the team agreed that they needed to find individuals who possessed specialized expertise. And those individuals were found: Jamie Bradley (writer) and Andrew Chandler (director). The new team is currently working on this show with the hopes of having it completed by the end of this year. In the meantime, it was thought The Halifax Fringe Festival would be a wonderful venue to try some of the mental demonstrations that may be included in the final theatrical production.
