As the winter rains disappear, the stream that feeds my hydroelectric turbine loses volume. Now I must install smaller diameter jets to limit the water flow, also limiting the amount of power generated. After doing a lot of research into the various renewable energy products out there (let me assure you there are a ton!), hydropower was one type of renewable energy that particularly interested us, especially being in the state of Michigan where we are surrounded by water.
