"DP!!" She skids to a stop near her dearest friend. Her light blue eyes shine at him, and her smile stretches so wide that it nearly reaches her ears. "You're back!" She refrains from going any closer, even though she really wants to hug him right now. "Where were you??"

“Gone.” He says, unhelpfully. “I ran into something and got...” He thinks, looking for a way to put this. “Dropped off. It’s not a big deal.”Still, despite his dismissive attitude, a grin tugs at the corners of his mouth. Him? Glad to see Leaf, too? More likely than you think.

“How’d you do in the tournament this whole time? Lose to anyone too bad?”

What, you mean last week? No joke. Mikey (@powerthatsinside) came down from up north to spend the week with me. I think she was just flying south for the winter. Must be cold up at the north pole.

It’s not often, though, and there’s plenty of RP partners I’d love to meet! I’m huggy, though. Meeting me means you should probably leave personal space at the door for at least the first hour.

Inside Dark Pit's room, there was a box wrapped in paper wrapping. It was as big as a chest, and was tagged with a picture of a leaf. Once opened, it looked to be a guitar care kit, with a drawing taped to the top of it. It was of an angelic boy playing the guitar, and a long haired girl playing a flute. Next to it, was a Christmas tree.

Oh, right. It was that Christmas thing again. Looks like he missed most of the tradition stuff this year... Good. He checks out the box and its contents, blinking as he realized who they were from. Okay? ... He’ll break out that kit to use, though. The instrument’s gone without a tune up for a while, and honestly could use the TLC. ... Only while he’s alone, though.

A huff, and a groan from the Mightyena, and he flattened himself to the ground, growling low and deep. He’d had a trainer before.. A bad one.. How could he know if this one was any different? He couldn’t.. He wanted to, he was loyal at heart, and affectionate, but.. He’d been through too much. 

Come closer, and he might bite. But.. he also might not. It was a fifty-fifty chance, and even he was weighing his options. But then- More shuffling in the grass- A Scolipede!! Something had upset it, and it was now charging straight for the trainer!!

Faster and faster, the Scolipede was charging in, and almost reached Leaf before Monty reacted, leaping out to protect the trainer and tackling the Scolipede, knocking it back just a bit.
