Adherence to Medication
I was sifting through the articles on POZ.com and came across this article:

I can relate to this somewhat. Basically the article is talking about how people forget to take their medication with them when they go out drinking. I have been in this situation before, not many times, but a couple for sure. Some people, the article suggests, don't take their medication and alcohol because they believe it to be toxic. I certainly feel a hangover at a 110% and often I get a lot drunker a lot faster-- on account of my booster slowing down my liver-- but I was also thinking about pot. I have smoked pot before and totally forgot to take my medication. I have also doubled up on my medication because I wasn't sure if I had taken it already. Man alive, I really got a sense of how hard-core my medication was when I took twice as much as I was supposed to. I thought I was going to die! Obviously I survived.
I guess the lesson to be learned is that week pill counters are useful and make sure you keep them stocked and up-to-date.
