stuff about my spidermerlin fic below (ship stuff)
i know that i'd like to include merlin/freya... freya will probably be a mutant of some sort and merlin will save her some how. but. i dont know anything outside of that. theyre most likely not going to be endgame because freya only has one episode really but i swear i wont kill her i really like freya and i dont want to fridge her
im presonally pretty fond of merthur (boo tomato tomato) and it would be easier than other merlin ships just because i know arthur the best. I also briefly considered mergwen but id rather pair up gwen with lancelot or morgana and i do love me some platonic mergwen.
I do like mergwaine but gwaine likely isn't going to be as prominent in the story as arthur or gwen
but it kind of doesn't matter who he ends up with now anyways because it would have to be a slow burn, like a lot later in the story, and merlin has supervillains to kill so its like whatever
ended up getting started on the merlin spider-man au but im not realyl sure on how much im liking it. im def not sure about how im startin out with the characterization (even tho im only 1k words in lol) and i dont really know if i chose the best starting point? i'm having it open to merlin getting to his uncle gaius's pharmacy and introducing himself, so pretty much just a modern version of merlin's arrival in camelot, but it feels weird.... hmmm.....
I am really going to need a beta reader in the future but i genuinely have no clue how to get one, i am NAHT asking my irls and im not going to make my poor cousin read another fic for a fandom shes not in lol. wish me luck heh
