I’m not sure the pirates also being effectively immortal like peter is even brought up in the canon play?? but in our version of neverneverland once you’re there you don’t age. at all, regardless of situation. So all the lost boys, the pirates, and the other ppl on the island will not age. Hook has been on neverland since 1846, Smee since 1949

Troy Torres’ battle for survival against the Calvo/Tenorio administration’s plot to set him up on false drug dealing charges has exposed to guambloggies what I have been saying for 8 years about these corrupt and vile people. 

This shirt. That “look”...the boy ain’t right. And hasn’t been for a while.  Eddie and Ray knew about, facilitated and protected Torres, even as he fell deeper and deeper into the island’s drug underground.

in the other ‘verses languages work like usual and the crew mostly uses english (I know boo but that’s what I speak ok) but in F!s crew there’s a magical universal translator effect in place. so obviously for funsies it breaks sometime.

here’s the languages the crew speaks. I also wanted to put the languages in their own language bc that’s fun. 

Hook - English, Gaeilge//Irish, Français//French, Latin

Flint - Ру́сские//Russian

Smee - Tagalog//Filipino,  Gaeilge//Irish (passable), English (some/Taglish)

Jukes -  Deutsch//German, maybe some very basic Nederlands//Dutch

Starkey - Español//Spanish, Français//French (some)

So you have Hook and Smee who can sort of talk to each other in gaeilge, supplementing with english and/or miming. 

Flint just goes back to sleep. She’s not dealing with this.

Jukes and Starkey somehow immediately get in an argument even though they can barely understand each other 

Smee and Starkey start screaming at each other over close español/tagalog cognates/loanwords while Jukes fans the flames bc xe’s a complete drama queen. 

Starkey tries to talk to Hook instead but slips up once (ONCE) with a simple français grammar rule or something and Hook mocks her mercilessly until she goes back to sulking in silence with Jukes and Smee

Yeee so there’s a Wendy multiverse - which I have up to recently been referring to as alt universes/characters. However they’re actively NOT AUs - bc they interact with the play in pre-canon. 

As an aside - Anything pre-canon to the play, which includes multiverse existence/interactions, and absolutely anything that isn’t actively a scene in the play is a wobbly sort of non-canon canon. Is there a word for that? if there is I’d love to know bc I’m terrible at explaining otherwise. I’m gonna keep calling it pre-canon. 

Anyway because there is magic, the characters physically/literally get transported to each others universes and interact (which is also how we get Seeds/other oc crossovers in ppaw art)! 

Here’s a primer on the ‘verses, which is most easily explained by which Smee is present: 

Walt - the “canon” universe of ppaw, the characters who are the focus of the play (why the content is mostly based on these guys)

Tom - universe with a closer plot to the og play/book. tag is “Bs”, short for !Barries. more grimdark and depressing, but also very homosexual

Mary - literally just the one where they’re all lesbians. tag is “Fs” for !Fem (even tho both F!Hook and F!Smee are both butch lesbians and Hook is transmasc). there’s no plot yet

Ros - the most lighthearted of the bunch! peter as a main character and ally, little to no murder, fun hijinks, etc. tag is “8s”, which came from us calling them “the other hets” -> h8s (”hate” bc we hate hets? lmao) -> 8s). 

All art with the multiverse chars are tagged as “ppawalts” on @hpkn​ :D

oooh is it any specific type of Gaelic like gaeilge or Gàidhlig?

yes it’s gaeilge. all my knowledge from this comes from research, so I’m very willing to take any pointers. :> I’m also now aware the irish language shouldn’t be called gaelic - sorry if I make any more mistakes 

Hook’s learning of irish was non-natively in the 1840s , while Smee spoke it entirely natively & fluently from the early 1930s

I really want a plot where Pamela starts dating this punk guy, or a broke guy, just someone who  her parents would not approve of. she' starts dating them because she knows that it would piss them off, but then she really starts to fall for him. And as much as she likes him, she doesn't know what to do because she knows that around her friends and family, he would never really be accepted so she's conflicted about what to do.
