Well. -w- I have thought of Qrow's state a bit, when he finally withdraws. It is going to be hell, since I can guess that he had been drinking for 15+ years. And also, he is going to tell Team RWBY that at one part of being an huntress, they failed to hear Oz out, even with the secrets he kept, and when they freaked out, they almost *died* due to the Apathy taking advantage of their emotions. He needs to be the one who tells them to really apologize. Especially really be FIRM to Yang and Ruby.
Hmmmm, to be honest I’m not so sure that’ll be the case. Qrow MAD, he feels betrayed by Oz keeping a big piece of info from him and I really don’t think he’s emotionally ready to face Oz in general right now let alone convince others to forgive him. ESPECIALLY if this poor bird bastard is gonna have a rough time dealing with withdrawals D;Assuming CRWBY goes for a realistic portrayal, Qrow is NOT gonna be a fun person to be around in his recovery and while I’m sure Ruby and to a lesser extent the other kids will sympathise with his plight. There’s probably gonna be a lot of frustration with him. Qrow’ll be a liability to the group in such a state, and I really don’t think he is gonna be comfortable being so vulnerable around these kids. He needs a FRIEND, someone he’s not old enough to be the father of, to actually talk to. So considering that Tai is still in patch and currently away from the plot, I honestly think that friend might be Ironwood. Ironwood has shown a lot of trust in Qrow, more so than Ironwood has actually shown in Oz, and assuming he hasn’t gone mad with power, Ironwood may actually be able to offer Qrow a sense of stability as well as being someone who’ll listen and actually understand Qrow’s troubles. The scarecrow and tin man are good friends in the wizard of oz after all, so maybe these two have a deeper friendship than Qrow’s initial antagonism of Ironwood may suggest.Also we have the wonderful Maria now part of our merry gang, who I’m hoping will low key become both Ruby AND Qrow’s mentor maybe even qrows mother figure lmao and she’ll be there to roast Qrow to hell but also be a little softer and supportive with him when he needs it <3In terms of Oz, Qrow’s gonna need to sort out how actually he feels about the whole situation, and battle with his addiction before he’ll be ready to even think about talking to Oz. Also they high key really hurt Oz’s feelings so he has kind of locked himself in his room and wants them all to go away right now unless u need to land an airship of courseSo while I don’t think an apology party is in the works right now, I do think somewhere down the line they will come to forgive Oz. Coming to the conclusion that as flawed as his plans may have been, the dude has been trying his best to keep Salem at bay, and that their energy is better spent on figuring out how to stop her rather than being mad at eachother.
