Every summer, PPR provides summer camp programs to thousands of kids throughout the city. These camps range from neighborhood days camps to outdoor adventure camps and visual or performing arts camps. Our amazing full-time, seasonal and PYN staff create unforgettable memories by introducing their campers to a variety of new experiences each day. This summer, camp staff members have pulled out all of the stops and packed their programs with unique activities and fun outdoor play, ensuring the campers will return year after year.
Over 7,700 campers in neighborhood day camps, not including specialty camps, such as Visual Arts or Sports & Athletics.

120 participants in Golf Camp
600 participants in National Junior Tennis & Learning Camp
540 pieces of artwork were created by 66 campers at Summer Art Camp
187 adults in Senior Art Camp
60 teens from the Be Outside Teen Adventure Camp went on 18 field trips in 6 weeks
At the Wissahickon Environmental Center, 10 campfires were made, 5 pounds of wineberries were eaten and 4 species of snakes were spotted.
Over 500 talented youth participated in Performing Arts Camps
133 campers at Carousel House Camp for people with disabilities. There were 22 additional participants in Sports Camp and 21 participants in the Wheelchair Basketball League.
100 campers were enrolled in Skateboard Camp at Rizzo Rink and skateboard staff provided 40 other PPR camps with Skateboard Clinics, exposing 1,500 youth to the activity.
In addition to full-time staff, 1,319 teens were hired from the Philadelphia Youth Network to help create unforgettable memories for each and every camper.
