oh sure did! Now they actually waddle with a limp and their vision is all gross.

still to this day unable to wrap my head around why the hell that wasn't already in the chapter tho. not only does it very much alter the vibe of that ending but also generally doesn't make all that much sense from a selling standpoint- if you'd already cut corners at release so much, why the hell glue them back on now when the hype is long dead?

Funny how if you're playing this game without picking up all the relevant optional notes you're not going to understand any of this goop lore. Remember how confused Mark was with Sawyer's sudden cliffhanger return? Ppt is made for game theory YouTubers and yet we find ourselves engaged with the game's story 😔. We're being held hostage by the one cool jester character

in all fairness mark was iirc also hangry and burnt out from work on his movie- AND thrown into one Barely Enjoyable Fun Fest of Poor environment /game /level /puzzle /chase sequence design. for like 5 hrs or so. only for the Reward for Beating a stupid challenging chase sequence where he died a few times to be. dying again only scripted. and then the player character DOESNT DIE AND INSTEAD THE CHAPTER JUST KEEPS GOING. and THEN when they find that blasted doohickey they'd been after all game long- in it mark/a player receives confirmation that the one guy you take half of ch4 to kill is now magically back.

Ngl I'm a little bummed about the prototype seemingly not being a jack in the box. It fits way too well for a story like his one (with how betrayed and helpless he was) . Just the idea of Oliver having most of his vital organs stuffed in a box whist the rest of him is a semi organic semi mechanical puppet is just the right amount of gruesome without being too extra about it

Hello!! Here’s some basic notes:

Catching the Sunlight (or CTS) is an AU of my main PPT universe, Bread Airplane (or BAP) (this series). This blog contains content for both AUs, however all asks take place in the CTS universe.

A little about CTS: The Angel and Hoppy escaped the factory, and have been living together for 10 years, until they receive the letter and decide to finally put their ghouls to rest.

Boundaries:

Fanart is absolutely okay!! Please just tag this blog on it :)

Nothing else comes to mind at the moment… ask and ye shall receive :P

Tag System:

Mod has two tags: #mod yapping, for any post where I’m the one talking & #mod art, for any art I make of the AUs (excluding art made for answering CTS asks).
