Another practice page.  With another mountain/dark tree/galaxy thing.  They’re fun.  I do a lot of them.  Don’t worry about it... :-)Â
This one was done shortly after getting the new watercolor stuff I ordered, and I can definitely notice a difference between this stuff and the cheap things I’d been using.  The colors are a lot deeper and more vibrant.  I also got some pen white, which you can thank for the wonky moon, lol.  It’s great for stars though :-)  Also, I tried to add the reflection in the eye without realizing the black was still ever so slightly damp...and the reflection kinda exploded.  Whoops.
Lots of color testing on this page.  Also experimenting with how the new watercolors I got handle.  I’ll probably write up my thoughts on them at some point. Â
