Types of Practice Fields
Parking Lot
Pros
Hard surface, smoother roll step
No mud, can practice in rain
Great for flanking when wet
Cons
Overwhelming stench of tar
Can melt shoes
Absorbs and radiates heat, cannot sit down without burning your butt
Hurts your feet after a long day
Grass Field
Pros
Soft surface, won't hurt your feet
Cons
Grass mowing and upkeep
Muddy after rain, also no practice in rain
Bugs
Gets all over your heels when there is dew in the morning
Turf Field
Pros
No mowing and upkeep
Soft surface, won't hurt feet
Can practice in rain but..
Cons
Practicing in rain not 100% recommended, possibly slippery
Turf turds everywhere without explanation
Fleas for some reason??
Absorbs and reflects heat
TURF TURDS EVERYWHERE WITHOUT EXPLANATION.
