Have I practiced today?

No.

Have I played the entirety of Fearless TV?

Absolutely.

I'm using an alternate fingering for high A in Mendelssohn 3 and it is sounding very flat whenever I practice at home. However, in orchestra, the alt. fingering sounds in tune. Which is not making sense to me, because A is the tonic and shouldn't need to be altered to be in tune?

It works better in context, so I will continue to practice it.

2024 Goal is the same as last year's:

Be more consistent.

Specifically, I want to structure my time so that I have enough time between when I get home from work and dinner to do my practice. Which I do.

So if I take an hour after work for myself, that gives me 90 minutes before dinner for music.

That 90 minutes is going to be My Practice Time.

Sometimes I think I have a terrible ear because I can't do dictation exercises without random modulations that don't happen but I just played Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid and I think I stayed in the key throughout
