So I wasn’t feeling super inspired to keep making the Animal Crossing Villagers I originally set out to do, which is a shame, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Instead I have decided to embrace practicting productive procrastination: I haven’t given up on my original project, but I have set it aside and while I wait to get inspired again I will work on something else.
What is that something else? Well it’s still Animal Crossing themed so I’m on trend at least. I have decided to make gyroid and gyroidite friends! One of the cute and quirkiest parts of the AC series, these guys deserve some love.
This basic pattern will be highly customizable once I’m done with it and who knows, maybe I’ll move on to making the more complex Gyroids we see in New Leaf.
I’m so exicted there’s literally 24 hours to go until I can get my own copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
