I think these two figures are in better sync, emotionally. I would refer to both as ‘despondent’.
There is a necessary project I must do.
I would like to grow and refine my ability to convey precise expressions and feelings through my characters’ faces and bodies. Somehow, it seems helpful to make it a two-step process: practice the expression on a realistic model, and then adapt it to a graphically designed model. I selected Princess Jasmine. It seems I created two emotions here: the model on the left seems to be a little concerned about what she’s looking at. Jasmine, on the other hand, is weary and blase about what she’s seeing.
