So Im a sap, okay? Im a giant sap, always will be. But, I wasnt really able to show it in me, and instead projected it through my muse.

That is until recently. Very, recently. See, over the course of 19 months, I finally found the missing part of me that I’ve often declined for so long, claiming I never needed it - the love of another person. And honestly, I’m glad I declined it until recently, because the person who opened up her heart to me, gave me everything I never had, and much, much more. 

She means everything to me, she’s the other half of me. The Miles to my Phoenix, the Jack and McCree to my Gabriel and Hanzo, the Dork to my Nerd and the Nerd to my Dork, the Weiss to my Pyrrha, the Texan Mexican to my Liverpudlian Briton and the holder of my heart and soul. 

Thank you for everything @praepcsitus​ - I’m no words person because I can’t string a sentence without thinking I cocked it up, but somehow with you, the words fit perfectly. I love you so much, and I hope one day, our love can be closer than it is now in more ways than none.

“ Hey, Papa ? ” she starts, turning her head to look at the other next to her. They were currently seated on the couch, shoulders brushing, feet tucked under a yarn blanket Trucy made. It was one the pair specifically shared as it was her way of saying ‘Welcome to the Family’ when his relationship to her daddy became more official. (She was making one for all three of them to share, but she wasn’t going to tell them that just yet.) Her eyes study his face, smiling gently at how enthralled in the Steel Samurai he was. Trucy’s face brightens even more and her smile broadens, a smile subconsciously reserved for her two fathers. “I never noticed how much you loved Steel Samurai before.”

Heterochromatic eyes were bright when his lover agreed to stay in bed with him, arms wrapped around him tighter as he adjusted to let Miles lay next to him. Humming as he felt him nestle against his neck, he chuckled as he kissed the top of his head. “Do we though? We can just spend today gazing at each other lovingly and I’ll certainly remember why I fell in love with the most gorgeous man~”

If there was one thing that Blackquill had come to appreciate, it had to be the peace and quiet. Even in silence there had been noise, back in the clink, but here, with his feet kicked up on his desk and bird perched on the back of his chair, there was nothing but the sound of his own thoughts or the occasional click of talons. It’d been quite a busy year, and today was like every other -- Simon had spent hours looking over case files, some boring and others not so much, preparing whatever material he needed to shoot down ridiculous claims and make his case. This was the part of the job he hated, but it was necessary for a proper performance.

His train of thought was promptly interrupted by a knock on the door, glancing up with mild irritation. Although used to it, Simon didn’t take kindly to being interrupted. Luckily, or perhaps unluckily, for whoever was on the other side of the door, his wrath varied based on the individual, eventually responding with a gruff “Come in.” He shifted to sit up properly, closing the folder and setting it down.
