[ ☀ ] That’s an option, too– she can count the times she’s actually been to a restaurant on the tips of her fingers, and the experience is just as foreign as the concept of dating. What do you even order in a restaurant? Knowing herself, it would be a hearty meal– or an order of juice as she picks on loose threads or splinters of the table, which is just as likely.
Hey, it’s not as if she’s the only beginner in this. They’ll figure it out and have a good time, worst case part amicably, remaining friends. Nothing scary!
❝And you have to ask? Bien sûr! No way I’m not!❞ Finally, an occasion for her impulse buys! This is bound to be a blast. ❝Right! I’ll meet you outside the office once I’m done?❞
She laughs, clapping her hands together. “Okay !” Trucy agrees as she heads out of the office. “I’ll see you soon, Athena !”
Admittedly, Trucy’s closet didn’t have much variety outside of wild costumes, yukata and kimono for festivals, and then her everyday magician’s outfits. However, she did have a pink one that she could probably change into... Although, she’d made that mostly out of nostalgia on one day when she was sad. A few hours of remembering her old daddy, not wishing that he was here or that he was going to whisk her away but rather just missing him in general.
Maybe she wouldn’t bring out that costume.
If she had the time, she’d consider buying a new outfit but there really wasn’t time for that and to be entirely honest, her last Wonder Bar paycheck went to helping with groceries. Instead, Trucy decides that changing into her lucky outfit for the evening would be a good choice. So, she scurries home (briefly recalling a time when she was living in the office because the pair had no where else to go), not sure how long it’ll take Athena to get ready. She redoes her hair, changes her outfit, quickly sprays herself with body spray, tells her daddy she’s going back out with Athena and gives him a kiss on the cheek, and makes her way back to the office in record time.
