today **I** had the privilege to drag my friend jume and one of her brothers around wherever we wanted to >:3 we got to do a lot and it was great >:333 i'm SO good at being in charge
- first stop was černý rytíř/black knight, a shop that does mostly TCG and board games. we had asked jume's other brother if he knows about any nerd culture stores and this was the closest he could think of. it's no outland, but we had fun looking through the pokemon card pile. for some reason there where whole stacks of the same greavard card in there. jume found several cards she wanted and we chatted with some of the other customers who gave her a blaziken from a pack they just opened. it was so sweet
- immediately after we found a kpop store that sold boba. none of us do kpop but the boba was great
- i got to visit a lush store u_u they closed down in norway so now i gotta go whenever i'm in a country that still has them. we also found an excessively large book store in the same shopping center we probably spent an hour in
- we visited an alphonse mucha museum which was lovely, though the tickets cost a bit more than i expected :') it's so special to get to see some original litographs with the really iconic motiphs as well as some of the sketchwork stuff. sarah bernhardt lorenzaccio poster i love you forever and ever
- we admired a severed hand
- trying to get food in the tourist centre of prague is a generally bad idea (Expensive!!!!) and there were a million restaurants to pick from (Decision Fatigue!!!!) but we had walked past a tavern called "by the spider" that was doing a medieval style show - tickets for the show were Too Much but just food was okay priced. i convinced everyone to get svíčková because i'm so wise and good at sharing my culture
- we got trdelníky after!!! they're sweet pastries baked while wound around a pole. they're very good but i see trdelník technology has advanced since last i was a tourist in prague - they're now filling them with creams and cookies and doubling the price. you could still buy an empty one though which was a relief!!! trdelník is an essential treat
- PRAGUE ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK HIIIIIII MY FRIEND I LOVE YOUUUU
- then we went to see project hail mary which was thankfully in english with subtitles!! it's my second time seeing it and i am so happy i had such a good opportunity to see it with a friend!!! it's sooo goood it's so good!!!!!!!
GOOD DAY GOOD DAY
