handy tip when arriving to Prague, Czech Republic
I have recently returned from a business trip to Munich. When we landed to Vaclav Havel Airport Prague and off boarded the plane I was amazed to see how many people are lining up at the money exchange office - I believe run by Travelex.
And I was asking myself - why? What`s the reason?
When I travel abroad to a civilized country I hardly ever exchange money. We live in 21st century right? Time of "plastic money" aka credit card.
So a handy tip. I bet you will get a better exchange rate using your credit card in ATM machine right outside of the exit from arrival area. To be precise - the moment you step to the area where all the family members and taxi drivers are waiting you will find AMT machines to your right - that is Terminal 2. There are 4 ATMs next to each other. Terminal 1 will be very similar.
