To say she was friendly with the other Operators at Rhodes Island simply wouldn’t be true. Even suggesting she knew most of them would be a stretch. It’s not that she didn’t pay attention, she simply didn’t care to form relations with most of them. It was for their own good, after all.
But you don’t spend time in a place without at least recognising some faces, and she was sure she recognised one now. She didn’t see many felines of her variety.
“Hello, miss. You probably don’t know me, but that’s fine.”
“You’re an operator of Rhodes Island, yes? Do you know what’s going on here?”
