Hello hello! I am still alive!:D (Just spending a lot of time on a deserted island with Racoons and other cute creatures!XD)
Litttle Mermay prucan thing!
Matthew is a little mermen who often get tease for being so pale while his brother has such colorful scales. He flees to a part of the sea one day to cry alone and fall asleep (like anyone who cried and swimmed all day). He is found by a school of fish who the royal procession of the fish prince Gilbert and some of his subjects for his birthday. Gilbert really love Matthew scales since they are pale like his! Gil then will follow (with his school of fishes) Matthew around spying on him as he goes back to the other mermaids.
(I can see Matthew finding him cute and a nice friend, while Gil and his subject change into big scary shape anytime someone is mean to Matthew!)
And later when Matthew grow into a beautiful young adult merman and Gilbert is more and more pushed to get married, our tiny fish prince will go see the sea witch Arthur to ask to be changed into a merman himself! (the cost would have been all his scales but all his subjects who followed Matthew around with their prince all chip in one scale to help their love struck royal!)
...so yeah now we have a story.XD
