Entirely engrossed in his own thoughts, he almost missed the projectile until he was able to turn at the last second to use his shoulder as a shield. The lights bounced off of him and fell to the grass in a sad heap. Looking up, Josh knew that he shouldn't be too surprised to see Jess there.
