All he sees are hands coming at his face suddenly, and his immediate reaction is to squirm, break away, escape before he gets hurt, but there comes no pain.  Just the sound of a big kiss, smack dab on his head.  It’s after he is released that he takes in just who his assailant was, and he feels silly.  “Oh!  I didn’t realize —”  Here, Jervis’ smile breaks into a grin.  “I should have known it was YOU!”  He claps his hands, laughing nervously, easing away the anxiety he briefly felt.  Really, he wishes he wasn’t so short, so he wouldn’t be so easy to grab at though.

" happy valentine's, brucie! " jill chirped happily, pushing a nice vase packed full of an abundance of pink roses into his arms. she was grinning ear to ear, hands clasped -- she loved this holiday! " those are for alfred too, so be sure to share! " the woman joked.

Bruce stared at the vase, always suspecting it could be a trap or something. Typical Batman instinct, paranoia. “I suppose you caught me by surprise.” A gentle smile curled up his lips, accepting the vase. “I’ll let Alfred know about the flowers, don’t worry.”

But not before investigating those roses.

" happy valentines day!! are you surprised?! you LOOK surprised! ah hahAHA -- "

     there’s  surprise,  no  doubt  about  that.  having  anyone  almost  breaking  down  your  door  will  give  you  platter  eyes  &  much  arched  brows.  the  entrance,  the  abrupt  close  down  of  your  siesta —that  can  be  shocking.  harley  is  a  daydreamer,  harley  is  a  romantic  one.  not  quite  the  surprise  when  you’ve  been  envisioning  this  scenario  for  365  days  ‘til  this  year’s  fourteenth.  however,  the  delight  that  it  still  happened,  that  it  still  was  a  thing  even  after  multiple  presents  all  sizes,  was  lucid  on  her  morpheus - kissed  smile.  &  speaking  of  kisses-!  smooooooch!      ‘  mornin’,  gorgeous,  i  see  y’  were  busy.  ’      one  sluggish  fist  rubs  against  her  eyes,  index  &  middle  fingers  of  the  opposite  hand  go  to  her  lips,  calling  in  cupid’s  little  helpers.  &  one  would  believe  the  babies  couldn’t  look  cuter!  well,  think  again,  because  those  pink  ribbons  around  their  heads  are  making  them  vogue - worthy!      ‘  i’ve  been  busy  too  t’  keep  you  busy  today.  mama’s  wittle  boys  are  gonna  be  guidin’  ya  around  the  city  in  a  treasure hunt!  like  the  movies!  ’
