knowing i’m harlee quin & black mask biased, the movie was REALLY good. the origins are different ( a particular part of harley’s past resonated with me & just convinced me even more miss yan knows something ), the setting is different, the universe is different from the classic comic world— AND YET, the characterization of both was spot on. especially so when it comes to roman— he’s different, he’s more dramatic, but it feels like stuff he would do, taking in count he’s, too, an emotion-driven character. & harley? miss harley was so fucking cute & dependent- we love writers that know the character they’re dealing with <3
