You run a tricky business. Grinning at any easy cash you find. You rent out your scrapyard for a few underground concerts. End up liking the music more than you thought. "Liking" someone more than you thought. Her friends are wild but so is she. You have a pretty meeting spot in the back of a vintage classic that will never see the road again. You get a rude wake up call by her band-mates as they pack up for a coastal city tour. She says "See ya in two weeks."
And you realize your wallet is suddenly gone. Tricky.
