Want the scoop??🍦😆. . 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻. . . ✨ it’s important to let your clients know that when dealing with drug store box dyes, these results are not typical and they’re definitely not guaranteed! Luckily, this one worked out ☺️✨. . ☝🏻First, I started off by doing a quick “shampoo/bleach wash” with @pravana #purelightultralightener at the shampoo bowl and I watched this as it lightened her hair to a warm rusty orange color then rinsed. I used #pravanaexpresstoners ash + beige + 1/8 oz of @brazilianbondbuilder to help heal her hair and to control the warmth. . I let this sit for about 10 mins, then shampooed & lightly conditioned. 😉. . 👉🏻 Next, I applied #pravanachromasilk 5N + 4.52 + 20 volume & 1/8 oz of #b3brazilianbondbuilder as her base color. Beginning in the nape area melting about half way down the hair shaft then getting higher as I moved toward the front hairline. . 👉🏻 While this processed, I started to foilyage with #pravanapurelight power lightener + 20 volume & 1/8 oz of #b3 in foils on about 75% of the hair, melting the base color all the way down on the other 25%. . 💡PRO-TIP💡: I’m Making sure to have my base color handy so that I can “marry” this with my highlights in the foilyage! This helps avoid any dark or orange bands between the base color and the highlights! #nealmhair ✨. . 👉🏻 After processing for about 50 mins. I did a #vivids overlay using #pravana Red mixed with Wild Orchid + #b3 to create that beautiful shiny and vibrant red finish! 🍒🍒. . . Hello. This pretty started with a level 5/6 red with pink direct dye all over. She went on her honey moon, and all her color rinsed out. She's since then got her hair done with balayge and highlights in mind, not getting the result she hoped, she came to me. Her end goal is to be able to put fantasy colors in as she desired. We had to even out her canvas and porosity to get that even all over blonde. This is round ONE! Instead of glazing her with a gold beige or natural blonde, I decided to do a violet pearly metallic color to fit her fun sequin personality.
