Story - summarized
At Angel Prayer Hall, a bunch of children work tirelessly on their Starsnow gifts. Sasara is shy about hers, because she wants to send it to Queen Lilith, her favorite person in the world.
The Godmother that runs the prayer hall tries to dissuade Sasara from sending anything to the queen, fearing the child would just get hurt. But Sasara insists this is her wish for Starsnow this year. Finally, the two of them work on the little reindeer toy and send it off to Ninir Royal City.
Much later, the orphans gather around the TV to watch a show with Queen Lilith on it. The queen chats with the reporter about her holiday wishes, and she shows off a reindeer toy, claiming it to be her favorite. It's Sasara's toy! She's so excited and tells the other kids that she worked hard on that toy.
No one believes her. They all think the toy came from a store, and that Queen Lilith wouldn't waste her time on gifts from commoners. Dejected, Sasara leaves the prayer hall. But the Godmother finds her and assures her the reindeer toy on TV was the same one Sasara made: from the stitching on the belly to the red button nose. With spirits high, Sasara returns to the hall to have dinner with the other kids.
Only the Godmother knows the present never made it to Queen Lilith. As soon as the package arrived at the palace, the guards turned it away. But she will make sure that Sasara, and the other children, has a wonderful and merry Starsnow this year.
Connections
-It's unclear if Lilith knew Sasara's gift was a reindeer before returning it, but if she knew, it makes sense that she would taunt the little girl with her own reindeer toy on TV. Lilith has manipulated people ever since Telosma's Kiss, where she pretended to be a lost orphan only to switch places with Lizzy Glay and steal her family. And in Voice of Desire, Lilith fakes concern for others getting hurt or bullied only to trick them into loving her and only her.
-The first reindeer we meet in Miraland is the little deer that belonged to the two queens in the Queens' Starsnow Ball hell event. It traveled between the two kingdoms, delivering letters and presents from one sister to the other.
-Lilith has stated in her winter/Starsnow Reflections that she will accept any kind of gift as long as it carries your admiration and love for her. In Starsnow Icing, you give Lilith an acorn (something she remembers from her time as Ashley), and while she didn't want to remember the little squirrel, she still took your gift because it was a gift from the heart.
-Lilith mentions opening the toy museum to the public all during the holiday. This is the toy museum that Lilibet was sent to, during the Night in Doll Kingdom hell event. Benjamin knew that Lilith was going to visit the museum soon, which is when Lilibet wanted to leave.
Fun Facts
-This is Lilith's first Reflection so far to not feature her backstory. The first Reflection of hers to not have her as the narrator is Bunny Moon, where she appears at your apartment to make donuts, and you narrate your strange afternoon with her.
-Real reindeer shed their antlers at different times of the year. Female reindeer shed their antlers during late spring/early summer, and male reindeer shed their antlers around winter. So any reindeer you see around Christmas or Starsnow with antlers is a girl.

Architectural Ensemble from a Jain Meeting Hall, last quarter of 16th century
India (Gujarat, Patan)
The carved wooden dome, balconies and supports of this architectural ensemble belonged to the gudha-mandapa (meeting and prayer hall) of the Vadi Parshvanatha Jain temple in Patan, Gujarat. The temple was dedicated on May 13, 1596. During the renovation and enlargement of the temple in the early twentieth century, this portion of the building was discarded; nothing of the original structure survives in Patan. Some of its elements—in particular, the eight large figures of musicians and dancers that rose toward the dome—were lost and are known only from early photographs. The figures carved around the dome are the ashtakikpalas (eight regents of the directions). Traces of pigment suggest that the interior of the structure was once painted.
