If you do not have prayer, work at prayer, and the Lord, seeing your labor, and seeing how you are patient in the labor and wholeheartedly desire this good thing, will grant you this prayer. From turning all of our works to the glory of God, we obtain a constant remembrance of God, or in other words, walking before God. Walking before God consists of doing nothing without remembering that you are in the presence of God.

My Soul Is Waiting For the Lord
If we do not dissolve ourselves in sloth and turn over the pastures of our minds to the disorderly thoughts of evil, but we force our mind to obey our will, compelling our thoughts toward the Lord, without doubt the Lord will come to us with his will and take us unto himself in truth. Everything that is pleasing and is of service is found in the thoughts. Therefore, strive to please the Lord always waiting expectantly for him from within, seeking him in your thoughts and forcing and compelling your own will and deliberation to stretch out always toward him. And see how he comes to you and makes his abode in you (Jn 14:23). For as much as you concentrate your mind to seek him, so much more does he, by his own tender compassion and goodness, come to you and give you rest. He stands, gazing in your mind, your thoughts, your desires. He observes how you see him—whether with your whole soul, with no sloth, with no negligence. And when he sees your earnestness in seeking him, then he appears and manifests himself to you, he gives you his own help and makes the victory yours, as he delivers you from your enemies. For when he first sees you seeking after him, and how you are totally waiting expectantly without ceasing for him, he the teaches and gives you true prayer, genuine love, which himself made all things in you: paradise, tree of life, pearl, crown, builder, cultivator, sufferer, one incapable of suffering, man, God, wine, living water, lamb, bridegroom, warrior, armor, Christ, all in all. —Pseudo-Macarius
Kabir says: "Keep on reciting God's name and you will live pleasantly in the world." NOTE: "Reciting God's name: Manas Japa, Mantra, also called Simran or Zikhr: Mentally Repeating/Chanting a Name or Names of God, a spiritual technique that one can use to center one's self anytime, anywhere. It's also the first stage of meditation practice in the Path of the Masters. One begins meditation by repeating these names. These are names given to a student at the time of their initiation into the spiritual path.
To live always in the Secret Places of the Most High, To think only those thoughts that are inspired from above, To do all things in the conviction that God is with us, To give the best to all the world with no thought of reward, To leave all recompense to Him who doeth all things well, To love everybody as God loves us, and be Kind as He is Kind, To ask God for everything and in faith expect everything, To live in perpetual gratitude to Him who gives everything, To love God so much that we can inwardly feel that My Father and I are one, This is the prayer without ceasing, the true worship of the soul.
