No able-bodied person, in the next train rail car, wanted to give up their seat in the handicapped seating area. He went back, investigated the problem, and invited her to his area to have a seat with her rolling luggage cart. Another man gave up his seat with the comment of having more room and he was departing in a minute, etc. #GrownBlackMenSighting #HonorTheMothers The bicycle commuters and others had taken up all the handicapped and elderly seating. A young woman's pleas for help were being ignored by the masses. Why do they ignore us? Must be the devil in them. The young man and the older lady engaged in a conversation. She's been taken advantage of financially by family, isn't that always the case, and was also without a bus/train pass. This young man slipped her some money to buy a ticket at her next stop, so the fare enforcement officers don't ticket her. #GrownManSighting I was ear-hustling and distressed by the fact that all her social security was being used by her weed smoking son-in-law because her daughter was too concerned about "keeping a man." #Shameful You know I started digging for my church's outreach ministry card and impressed upon her to call them tomorrow morning. Yeah, I jumped into the conversation like that (snaps fingers)! I asked her name and if I could pray for this beautiful widow. She said yes and I invited the young man to join us. Startled, he accepted. A sister behind me squatted down in the aisle and joined us. We got a prayer circle, y'all! Hallelujah!!! Prayer circle on the city train. You better recognize. We ain't ashamed of Who we put our trust in. #PrayerAnywhere Then the young man asked me to pray for him and his son. Look at God! Doors open. The brother needs a church home since moving to Texas. I told him about Sunday's Christmas play at my church and the Dad's Club. God's children are everywhere, in every form, in every stage of life, in every state of pain and/or praise.
