I’m low key proud of myself. 👏🏼👏🏼 Flashback to a year ago in senior year of undergrad, I got a C in Physio and it was difficult to understand everything. I cried so much because I felt like I was worthless.
Now as a grad student, I managed to get a B-. It’s not bad, I feel like I understand the concepts so much more. If I keep at it, I can probably get a B+/A- when I take it again in med school 💖 That’s my goal!
I am so grateful to my school for giving me a second chance and an opportunity to revisit these concepts.

So here’s the story:
For the past year or so I’ve been sleeping on a futon (a couch that folds into a bed). Though very uncomfortable at first, I was very thankful for it and adjusted it in a way that was more or less comfortable, that is.. until about a week ago.
In general I don’t usually get the greatest of sleeps (that’s another story) but lately I’ve been suffering with INTENSE pain in my back/stomach throughout the night. I noticed his occuring more and more and so I took to prayer; I needed a bed.
The past couple nights I’ve had to get up and sleep on the couch in the living room to ease the pain. With no money and clue on when I’d be able to get a bed, I asked a friend to pray and I myself had been praying. Today again I woke up in pain and slept on the couch. While at work I was discussing with my coworkers the situation and that I’d eventually get one when one of my coworkers said “you want a bed?”. Long story short, I was given a bed FOR FREE from said coworker and am now sitting on it, excited to give it a shot tonight.
To think the past week or so I’ve been struggling, I had no idea how I’d get a bed but I’d been praying God would work something out and now, today, someone just gives me a bed.
Praise God! I am sooo thankful and happy! I love how God cares for us. I knew it was a major issue that needed to be dealt with. And rather than worrying I took to prayer and God definitely answered! All glory to Him!
My coworker isn’t a Christian so prayers for their salvation would be awesome. God bless!

Each day, I wake up not knowing if we will make it through the next. My daughter should be learning to walk, to smile at strangers, to feel safe in her world — but instead, she’s learning to live in the middle of a war zone. 🕊️
I’m not writing this to ask for pity. I’m sharing our truth because silence won’t protect us. Maybe, through this message, someone will hear us — and care. 🤍
