My substitute teacher just told us to empathize with the Nazis in Charlottesville. She told us to put ourselves in their shoes and think about what they are going through. I almost got up and left the room. How is that even an actual thought. How could you ask us to put ourselves in their shoes when they're the ones who need to look at life in a different view. When they need to put themselves in the people's shoes in which they beat, killed and persecuted. The audacity she had in saying something like that makes me angry and I can't understand it.
