4/29/2015 My Prayers For Baltimore
Guys... My state,Maryland... er,rather,my hometown,Baltimore... is under attack... and it seems like it’s getting worse and worse by the day...
Recently,my state governor,Gov. Larry Hogan, has said “We will not tolerate this,” and has issued a state of emergency and brought the National Guard in and the Baltimore Police is using everything they can to bring the riots to an end,the Orioles had to postpone 2 games, and will be the 1st team in MLB history not to have a public crowd at a 2:30 game tomorrow, moving the next series to Florida, topping it all off,Harford County, where I currently live, has sent 22 Deputy officers to B-more,law enforcers are getting hurt and so are innocent people, property, police cars, businesses, are destroyed. Even worse, the MAYOR of Baltimore said “we decided to give the rioters space to destroy stuff” and then DENIED she said that the next day. Liberal logic much? I’m not tolerating it either. I hate it. Every. Single. Second. Of. It. I’ve seen headlines, pictures, and videos all over the internet and my hopes are going down the drain as I watch and read in agonizing pain and grief.
My prayers for them :
Lord,I pray for my hometown,Baltimore,as the law enforcement teams are trying to bring peace and order back to what me and and thousands of others call home. I pray for our leaders in state and city positions that they lead us through these hard times and brings us back to the peace we had. I would like to toss my prayers up to the innocent civilians as they are getting hurt. I pray for the Orioles team and staff as they do everything they can to keep our players safe and out of the way of harm. I pray for the city of Baltimore as it it ravaged, destroyed, and ruined by rioters who attack it. But most of all,I pray for the rioters, please forgive them, for they know not what they are doing, please bring them to the light and show them what they are doing is wrong, and I pray that they find You amid the chaos.
I pray these things Your Holy Name,Amen
😔🙌
Ok, the preamble to a soapbox rant: We, the people, are fed up with the double standard. Yes, a few people that made poor choices have grabbed the medias attention; what about the thousands of PEACEFUL demonstrators, those that obeyed the law? But these guys can tear up their cities, because of, whatever...and what? Nothing. C'mon. #PRAYFORBMORE #prayforbaltimore
