#MyNewYorkTrip - I know this is not a clear photo but yes, I was in the same room as @christinecaine as she preached the Word of God to thousands of girls in the @coloursisterhood conference here in NYC. 😇 As much as I was super encouraged and challenged at her message to have not only faith but great patience and go through life "little by little," I was all in all revived in spirit with heart-rending sermons from @dawnchere, Momma @bobbiehouston and worship led by @tayasmith @brookefraser @lauratoggs and many others. My first #ColourConf and I am the right girl at the right time in the right place. 💝 And the same message goes out to all the girls out there, and yes, please tell your mothers (the wiser older girls) on their special day that WE ARE DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH KING!👸 We have nothing to fear, nothing to be anxious of. The only thing that wakes us up at night should be the millions of souls around the world who in pain and darkness - to pray for them and to work towards justice. PS. Praise the Lord for my mother who has raised me to be this brave girl I am today.
