Post-Dunk!USA bliss. I had an outstanding time at the show the weekend prior, from start to finish. Getting to meet so many people in the bands and the scene in general was such a trip. It fascinated me how everyone seemed to kind of know each other already, or were close friends from years prior. Just name dropping someone while talking to another would often be met with “Oh, you mean So-and-So? He’s great!” I was deeply grateful for the people who set up the whole thing, Wout, David, and the crew from Belgium. It was quite the dream to see all this come together so well and meet fellow like-minded folks who appreciate a good instrumental jam. As for this radio host, I’ll be anxiously waiting for the next show they put on here.
While I loved every moment of the bands on stage, meeting those that I did behind the scenes was particularly awesome to me. This week’s show we played the interview I had with all 5 members of Pray For Sound, an act we’ve been supporting since Bruce’s first release, Monophonic, half a decade ago. Look forward to it being uploaded to the KUCI.org archives in the coming week or so!
