Election 2016: Seems like we have to hold our nose as we vote this time around. At least if we vote for one of the two major party candidates in November. One candidate's kids are more poised than himself as he has recently attacked anyone who attacked him. A never ending battle. The other is criminally dishonest & already a compromised candidate who's friends with whoever gives her foundation cash. She'll sell us out. Both claim some sort of Christian belief or background but is it evident? If we believe in God & claim to be Christian is it evident in our lives? Jesus said, For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.” (John 13:15). Even if we put on a front to look good on the outside, we can't fool God on the inside, nor be Christ-like without Him reigning on the throne of our lives. Most times we are on the throne. All have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), we are all guilty of sin which keeps us out of heaven. More importantly the million dollar question is if we were to die today we will enter eternity, but will it be in heaven or hell? Sin keeps us out of heaven. Only the blood of Jesus will cleanse us of our sins as we repent, turn from our sins & turn to Christ. Jesus is the doorway to heaven (John 10:9) and we desperately need Him to help us to change our ways & turn from our sins. Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” as we ask according to His will, to bring Him glory.
