So today I saw the article about TJ Manotoc surviving depression, I felt proud for him and I'm glad at the same time that finally nagiging topic or naoopen na ang tungkol sa depression in Philippines hoping to other country too. Depression is a serious problem. I've been in depression too and being alone with your thoughts is the most dangerous thing. So everyone please take time to understand what depression is and listen for those who are suffering from it, stop judging them, saying harsh words like "wala lang yan", "arte mo lang yan", "sus nakikiuso lang mga yan kaya ganyan". Like what they always say you don't know what other people are suffering from so be kind. And for those who are suffering from it please take a risk and find the courage to ask someone's help. Don’t let depression take over your life. If you need help, get help. You’re so much more than that. You’re a precious human being & many people care about you. Even if it doesn’t seem like it, they do. Learn to love yourself. It might take time for the wounds to heal and they might leave some scars. But you will be able to walk again, you will be able to think clearly and smile again. Don’t let anything or anyone drag you down. Pray hard too, it works. ❤
