{ dxranbolt }
He wasn't startled into an awakened state like most morning -- no, the transition happened easily, relaxed. He was baited out of his dreamland by the weightlessness of the morning resting onto his shoulders.
It stared with a dim light that somehow made itself known behind his eyelids. Awareness didn't begin to creep into his mind until sound gently began to lull him out of his state -- the chirping of birds muffled by the window, the soft sound of dishes clanking together coming from the next room, it all served to spin his mind into action and realise he wasn't at his home.
He panicked at first, eyes blinking wide open before he remembered he had spent the night at Doranbolt's. With a gentle smile replacing his tired and panicked expression and a warm feeling spreading through his chest, he sat up, brushing the sleep away from his eyes with his fingers while stiffening the yawn with his other hand.
"...Doranbolt?" He called out, just to be sure with hesitance and sleep lacing his voice. The morning was unnaturally tranquil for him and he felt rather intrusive breaking the serene silence so suddenly.
