write a thing programs street gangs neon
Sorry this is late, busy happened. It was done yesterday, but uh... yeah.
--------
They called it free code.
Tron Lives was splattered across Argon, through the trains, into Bismuth, Gallium, and Purgos. There was code into the outlands, in bright, flashing neon. It light up the darkness, shining into the furthest parts of the Grid.
Programs went across the cities, pressing gloves to the buildings, pipes, and signs. They traveled alone and in pairs, for the most part. A few traveled in groups, distracting guards to get into the protected zones.
Argon was filled with Black Guards and Sentries after the mechanics of Able’s Garage fought back and almost – almost, but not quite – won against CLU’s forces. The garage had been destroyed, and the rubble left as a reminder of what CLU could – and would – do to uprisings.
Gangs of taggers ran through the streets, going from building to building, using their knowledge of the city to get past the Sentries and Guards to display the code. It was tough, though, for the programs to get by the guards and into the areas, since CLU had upped security in the city.
Rumors said that the coders were led by a program with white circuits that covered most of his skin. They said he was half-glitched but brilliant, knowing how to get past the Sentries and Guards with ease.
Of course, the program was just a rumor, right? There couldn’t be a program like that.
At least, that’s what the official records said.
At any rate, Tron Lives was still splattered across the furthest reaches of the Grid.
And no one was stopping it.
