Question for authors
Do you ever work really hard on a story and do as best as you can and still feel like it sucks?
I have loved writing since I was a kid and have been writing on a book of my own for years now. This story is really important to me. I am currently prove-reading to change some of the things I don't like/correnct the writing style since it change in the last years.
But even when I read parts where I don't find much to correct I still feel like everything sucks. Charackter too flawless, to much explained, boring plot... but whenever I tell my friends/family they think everything is fine. I know they aren't professionals but I trust them and they are the best I got.
Is it normal for the author to only see flaws in their work?
