The snow cast over it all. The brunette couldn’t help but gaze out the window, ignoring the small cloud of air that surrounded the windows. With all ruckus of Christmas, it almost felt like home. There wasn’t an intense amount of celebration that reflected her father’s usual elation for it. With a small pout, it was hard to ponder over a holiday that a loved one will never be able to experience again. Charlotte was never one for loss. She lost a sister she never got to know. It never frayed her edges. It did nothing but lay over a thick cast of heartache for her parents. Their grief was more significant than her own. Her gaze flickered over the crowd of people, noticing one out of the several. The woman was standing alone, looking almost too overwhelmed by the environment. A new face. The brunette stared a bit closer, not quite sure if she even managed to greet herself to the woman. She had been trying to make herself more familiar with the newcomers lately. She felt as if she needed to - to at least avoid another event like the bonfire. She had to keep an eye on the crowds. Making sure that there were no remaining members related to the man who tried to kill them all. She blinked softly, icing over the fragrant sweet smile that every southern belle could manage. “Hey, are you doing alright?” She asked, asking genuinely concerned for once. It was nice to focus her problems elsewhere.
